For years the Broco Torch was the industry standard in exothermic breaching torches. Other torches have pretty much only been for routine industrial use.
As one Master Breacher once told me 'you will only ever need a Broco 10% of the time. But it is usually the only solution when you actually need it.'
It is nice to see Wilcox is offering other options.
If my previous post implied that Larue products were not GTG, that was not my intent.
I believe the machining of Larue products are also top notch.
That being said, a rifle of this type would certainly be used in the high round count, hard use environments in which parts that are tested in such a manner would be prefered.
Im not trying to start a pissing match over whether or not this testing is required or necessary. I only asked if this testing was now being conducted or not.
I certainly hope it isn't. A bolt that is made to the standard but not proof fired will outlast one that has been proof fired.
Glad they finally came out with the triple m4 mag molle FB style attachment. The rover rig is pretty slick also, my dog will soon be tacticool.
