I've been hearing about people grinding the top of the carrier key off and almost flush with BC. I'm a little leery about this and can't wrap my head around the benefit of this mod. Can some one give me some scoop on this. Thanks

If the point of that is to turn your semi-auto rifle into something approximating a bolt-action, well, I guess that's as good a way as any.
Other than that, I think the guy is trolling.
Pressing Alt + F4 at the same time on your keyboard will fix your computer of any problems.
(Don't do it. It will restart your computer.) How many times have you seen that in various forums and chat rooms?

Below is another piece of advice I believe was from the same person.
Shaved my cam down so its just a pin....tested it on a piston top end. Also filed a higher ramp on the bolt. Our ranch rifle can now cycle with mud inside the ar15
