I'm sitting on a Leupold Mark 6 with the Leupold mount. That's all I got.

My buddy has one of the vortex 1-6 genII's and it's money on his le901. If I were doing it this is the exact scope I would choose, the eye box seems huge on it. Does not really feel like you are looking through a scope on 1x. Here is a review I read that bigjoe did on them:

All the currently sold LR series mags are Gen 3 IIRC. They have 10, 20 and 25 round versions. I have used the 20 round mags in my Colt with no problems.

I can vouch for the following that I have used with zero issues
Ammo
WWB 147g 7.62 x 51
Freedom Munitions .308 150g FMJ
For varmints and 2 legged creatures
Barnes VOR-TX 150g and 168g Solid copper bullets (expensive but very effective)
I have had my 901 for exactkly 1 year. Shoots everything I have fed it.
I have an Eotech EXPS 3 and a G 33 magnifier on mine.

Thanks for the input. I have decided to look for a 10X scope.
Currently have a Vortex 1-6x on mine, but am debating swapping it out for something like a 3-12x or 2.5-10x. It all depends what you want to do with it. One person may want an Aimpoint, another might want a 6-24x, different uses mean different optics. If you want lower magnification, the Vortex 1-6x Razor is an awesome scope.
Mags - any Magpul LR Pmag. Don't bother even trying any other mags. The Gen 3 308 Pmags are fairly easy to find now.
Ammo - mine runs fine on Federal and Prvi Partizan. It chokes on Magtech (CBC) and MKE (Turkish, not common). Get US-made ammo and you'll be fine. Or Prvi, the cheapest ammo mine will run on.
Thanks for the info.
Do you know if the Knights SR25 mags will work?
The scope will be variable. It was recommended that I perhaps get a 5-20x50 Trijicon Accupoint. Anyone have experience with these?
