What buffer weight are most of you using with a 10.5" barrel? Shot a friends pistol tonight using IMI ammo and brand new troy mags. Shot great for the first two mags and then started getting double feeds, stove pipes, bolt and charging handle over rides.
I'm using an H buffer like Daniel defense recommends for their barrels which is what I'm using. Assuming youre not using crap parts from no name companies, ask the manufacturer what they recommend using with their barrel as it all depends on their gas port and the buffer spring.
+1 on the H buffer. It cycles much better.
When I first tested my 10.5" build with the standard carbine buffer, the last round on the first mag partially ejected but somehow ended up inside the upper with the bolt locked back. I don't consider that a malfunction since it really ejected the empty brass and locked the bolt back. The standard carbine buffer was too light and cycles too fast, so I upgraded to the H.
