Go on the McKay website. The a2 lower is on sale. They are nice and I like it's marked RM16a2.

    Parts I used:

Stock set from a gunshot a cross from one of the gates of Ft Chambell

FN New USGI replacement barrel off GB

FN New USGI upper off GB

    McKay lower

Rear sight from other upper I had

    Unknown dust cover from gunshop

    Colt forward assist from Brownells

Unknown bolt catch and magazine release from eBay

    Unknown springs from gunshop

    Unknown grip from eBay

Colt 6920 trigger hammer disconnect pins springs from eBay

Colt gas tube gas tube pin buffer spring and selector

FN bolt & bolt carrier GI firing pin and BCM cam pin

Windum buffer tube buffer screw spacer.

    USGI sling

    I think that's it.

Buffer tube was kinda hard to find. Everyone was sold out. I found Windum had them in stock so I got theirs. It works.

Thank you. I really like the quality of LMT's rifles and gear. I'm going with this one from DSG Arms. https://dsgarms.com/lmtlmp084

I like the LMT tube. I didn't see them when I was looking for one. Here is the one I bought:

It's a nice tube. The spacer is plastic which isn't correct for M16a2 but you can't see it and it works. I seen surplus correct GI spacers for sale. Screw from them was like a GI screw. Finnish was better. It works so I'm happy.

Man I could never bring myself to selling a handgun (probably because all of mine are not made any more) for a rifle upper.

Me either. Just build an upper. Right now you can get the FN barrels reasonable.

These are some pistols that I have no attachment to anymore. I still have plenty more. One of them is pretty rare.

You've inspired me! Two McKay lowers were shipped today. I received an order from DSG Arms today. A Rifle buffer tube, trigger and the rest of the parts I need to finish my lower. I spun the buffer tube and Daniel Defense Burnsed Sling adapter into the stock last night.
