I thank you for posting pictures of your parts Combat Driver. I'm supprised there is A2 upper in the mix. I figured DOD had more M4s.

They do, those were just pictures of the FN coded receivers. Still have small numbers A2s across the battlefield but as a maint shop need to have spares. FN bbl have the cage code 3S679 on them. Colts used to have a "C" but that just changed within the year to now 13629. I have a 4/15 bbl with "C" and 11/15 with cage code.

That's interesting about Colt using cage code on their barrels. You get time I'd love to see a picture.
Thanks,
Michael
Thanks for sharing the awesome pictures CD.
I can only imagine how awesome it is to see such quantities of equipment.
Not sure exactly what kind of work you personally do, or your association to the company, but any company re-building rifles to be put back into the hands of our troops gets respect from me.
I do, however, suppose it could get monotonous after a few hundred, or so, rebuilds. Haha.
Interesting barrels. Thanks for the pictures!
Decide to build a modern A2 carbine with the parts on hand. Don't ask me how it shoots as I just built for the photos and then will strip it back down to spare parts.

Looks great. I like the Sopmod stock
Surplus store find. Paid 3 bucks for it.
