I got kind of close on the MWS, but I just can't go back now to a non MARS H + MLOK chassis MWS setup now that they exist. I'd be paying for a color, and very easily could have given how cool these guns are. The S/A BCG, and no sights was a factor with me as well.

Still a great deal on a incredible rifle.

What exactly are the added features of the Mars H apart from the ambi bolt catch?

The MARS-H lower only adds the bolt catch. The bigger and more significant change that he also mentioned is the newer MLok upper/chassis. It saves over a quarter pound at the front of the rifle and makes it much handier.

I'm a lefty, and after years of using KAC IWS lowers....that right side bolt release has ruined me. Then to get both catch/release functions with the MARS lowers is perfection. I hate that my current MWS doesn't have it.

I waited way to long to see how awesome the new MLOK chassis were, I guess because I wasn't a fan of how they executed the SLK chassis.

Love my OD Green Cerokoted MWS. The factory anodized MWS looks really, really good though.. Congrats to anyone that snagged one. Quite unique.

You were the first person I thought about when I saw these.....You're green machine has long been one of my favorite config'd MWS.

People either love or hate colored firearms, lol.. and even within that subset, O.D. Green seems to be a turn off for some. I've got way too many colored firearms, so I'm trying to resist the temptation of messing with my new MLR MWS and MLR MRP.... I think I'll make it as they're badass as is

The key is going with a color you can live with indefinitely. I've always been a fan of OD and some of my first builds were OD centric rather than FDE. It was my first choice when considering Cerekote options for the MWS. In hindsight I wish I had gone that route as opposed to the RAL-8000 I ended up with.

@Boba Fett v2. I looked at a lot of SR25 gun porn and strongly considered doing a sand/FDE Cerakote on my MWS at the time. I like the looks of them all. In the end I didn't want to be sheepish and I have always been an O.D. Green fanatic. I don't regret my decision.

As far as your RAL-8000, I would have no remorse with that rifle. I was shocked at how well it looked when I saw it on the forum. Very unique color as far as rifles go and hadn't even considered it as I hadn't seen any samples of a rifle featured in that color. I've got three HK's in RAL-8000. While that color is referred to as baby-poo and mustard, I personally like it. Photographs usually don't accurately represent it for what it looks like in person. Your photographs I have seen however, do.
