I am sorry I hurt your feelings and made you upset. I will revise. Guys we need to write strongly worded letters to our reps, not to gruff though we don’t want to upset anyone.

There, is that better. I don’t want to come off to abrasive.

Speak for yourself. Tensions are high, and the desire to fight back has reach the most vocal point in my lifetime. A lot of that may be just talk, but I'd be willing to be a substantial portion isn't.

Amen. Stop caring what they call you, and just do what's right.

Which raises the question as to why would they ram their agenda full steam ahead the way have been. I want to call it hubris but it doesn't fit their style. For an ideology renowned for it's slow creep into everything it touches, this sudden rush to quash individual liberties in one fell swoop doesn't make sense. Even CA took years to get where it's at today.
Yeah, I don't get it either. Why sprint for the finish line when the slow approach has worked best? This seems best calculated to draw media attention and (tinfoil hat time) even to trigger the violent confrontation the right has always said it would.

Honestly, I think the exact opposite is true. What seems to better capture the attitude of millennials is that they want change, and are completely dissatisfied with the status quo. A majority of millennials may want socialism, but the minority is frequently on the opposite end of the spectrum. Those are frequently the ones that have been fighting America's longest wars, and thus bring the skills needed to the table, while their fellows don't. I'm not going to say that Millenials and Gen Z are bastions of liberty, but rather that change is more likely to occur with Millennials than with Boomers or Gen X, simply because they aren't as settled and comfortable with their lives.

And yes, I am a millennial, and hate most of my generation.
It's f*****g great, putting holes in people, all the time, and it just puts 'em down mate, they drop like sacks of s**t when they go down with this.

Does that last sentence make it better? Or is it still a horrific thing to say? And even more horrific and disgusting to think of.

    Get some help.
That is one theory for a slight lull in anti 2nd Amendment legislation.

The other was it being a false flag/sting operation to have a deleterious effect on citizen militias which were making gains prior to the bombing.

We will maintain the high road all the way to the gulags, which I learned were actually quite nice, and then March that high road down into the pit.

    It already is.
Look at the vote percentages in the last election [2016]. Half the country has already been convinced to vote against their best interest... and they are MAD it didn't quite work out. Unbelievable.

Yes, as links previous proves, and it seems there are more coming in by the day almost. They've gone mad with power, methinks.

Exactly what I said a few pages back- this would have been a PERFECT opportunity to make this a multi-issue problem and cross-pollinate with other groups a little, get everyone punching in the same direction for once.

I don't either. It's clear from the last few years that they're panicking HARD over...something. Not sure what, but it has something to do with Trump. That and I think they are genuinely losing their minds, Pelosi's pens being the most recent example.

No offense mate, but you DO kinda sound like a plant.
Personally, I think we all know the McVeigh line about the Fed building is propaganda BS, BUT, that still doesn't mean anyone thinks it was a good outcome as an example of 'resistance" or whatever. Sheesh. Pick a better example.

I don't think the high road is the motivation. Its not wanting to loose the safety and security of what you know for the possibility of better that requires risk.

I have come to the conclusion that American Gun Community, NRA, etc. were all faked out by a giant Rope-a-dope. While everyone was looking at the politicians in D.C. running their mouths about gun control and the worrying about the evil A.B.C. Agencies of the US, the real action was happening behind the scenes locally, in the State Houses.

Everyone had the clear view of what happened in California and Illinois, etc. but never imagined it could happen in MY State - it was the President and Congress going to screw you over and that was the general consensus. Instead, it has sneaked up behind the Gun Community close to home...and fast beyond belief. The Gun Community thought it had States' Rights to insulate against an over reaching Federal Government, but instead got the "All Politics is Local" result. Instead of nationwide Boogaloo, it will be a confined "Booga" over here, and a little "Loo" over there - all in the same State, neighbor against neighbor. That is if it ever happens at all............

It would seem that the first two are rather hypocritical, no? Not surprised of course, those bastards are the gold standard of hypocrites!

SB 399 wants to give VA's electors to the national popular vote winner. SJ 29 seeks to basically do the opposite on a state level.
