I have an FNP9 as a house gun. I haven't handled the FNX, but I believe they are largely similar in the grip/magwell area.
The lower part of the magazine well is thin and can flex if squeezed, but it's tapered and channeled. It gets thicker higher up the frame. The mag doesn't touch the grip walls until about where the trigger guard connects to the grip. Have had it out on some very hot Southern California ranges and I never saw or felt anything that squishy.
I like it. Accurate. Nice trigger. No hiccups in about 1500 rounds.
The video is 4+ years old. Curious about a follow up.

“Every record has been destroyed or falsified, every book rewritten, every picture has been repainted, every statue and street building has been renamed, every date has been altered. And the process is continuing day by day and minute by minute. History has stopped. Nothing exists except an endless present in which the Party is always right.” ― George Orwell, 1984
