It should not cause any issues.
Always verify proper bolt catch over travel of ~1/4".

That’s what I used, worked fine.

Delivering the most precision possible, at the greatest distance possible, with the highest rate of fire possible.
I used this combo before. I didn’t measure anything, but it seemed to function just fine.
The important measurement is the inside depth, not the outside length.
That was not the case from the tubes I had. Externally was shorter and internally was shorter as well.
In a 5.56 build, when drawn all the way to the rear the travel for the BCG was significantly less. Could it run?...yes. Did it function the same as a BCM/Vltor buffer tube?...no.
That might have been me...thought I read it as the internal is the same as the non-LMT tube.
I have a big, long-winded post about it on P&S or lightfighter I think.
Internal was 1/8" short; external was 1/16" +/- IIRC
