P&S has made their furniture for years, and is a brand I trust. However he did mention that the heat shields weren’t epoxied at the corners like the mil/LE rifles were. This makes me wonder if they went with a more cost effective supplier. In the end it doesn’t matter much, as the handguards are usually tossed in the trash. The point, is that Colt is cutting corners, and charging the same price.
You mean vs the old semi auto neutered carriers, about 10 years ago in my estimation.

I don’t remember if my LE6920 hand guards have epoxy.....cause they immediately came off when the Magpul arrived, and they’ve been in a drawer since.
Unless you work for Colt, you can say anything you want about their processes, suppliers, etc, but I’m not going to believe you.
If you work for Colt....well, I don’t ever recall reading a post from. Colt employee here, with actual information (vs speculation).
