Bought my first Glock from an ATF agent in 1990. Pretty much been a fan since the beginning.
Carried a 1911 for over a decade. Have intermittently carried a Beretta 92 for about the same period of time. Never cared much for Sigs honestly...
If you can't fight with most any gun, you're WRONG. I can run anything from an 1805 Harpers Ferry flintlock horse pistol to any "modern" pistol you care to name..... I dislike Fanbois with great intensity. It's just a f'ing tool, don't be one.....
