Wouldn't you lose cowitness with the sights then?

No, you still have a low cowitness. The plate is very thin.

I didn’t want to modify the slide in case I decide to change optics in the future or sell the gun. If that’s not a concern then you can mill the recoil posts flush.

I'm not at all saying to mill them flush. All that's necessary to fit the 507k is to take a few thousandths off the top.

Whatever the specifics are, I’m just relaying that for me, I prefer to use the adapter plate, rather than permanently modify the slide, and it worked well.

    But as always YMMV. 🙂

No, that's cool. I just didn't want the impression to be that the slide had to milled flat.

    Thanks!

I presume it stays on, has a near 3 moa dot, and is bright enough for a sunny FL day?

    Auto brightness or adjustable?

    I'll look into it.

Yeah, it's got 50k hours advertised battery life, and has the option of running a 2 moa dot, dot with 32 moa circle, or circle only. No auto brightness, and more than bright enough for direct sunlight. Here's a review/torture test from Sage Dynamics for your entertainment:

507K is 2 MOA dot and/or 32 MOA circle reticle.

No auto brightness but 12 brightness settings including two NV settings. Has “shake awake” and will sleep and wake when motion is detected.

No I have not. Didn't know they were available in the Micro RDS.

My eyes and the 2 MOA dots don't work together. 3.25 in my RMR's and 6 MOA in the 407K work great.

If I agreed with you, we'd both be wrong.

The last thing I want to do is hurt you,
but it's still on my list.
