Find a competent refinish shop or Cerro-coat shop and have them re-blast the front and rear straps and it'll look outstanding.
I know I should just keep my mouth shut and smile, but what fun is that?

It was probably a real pleasant surprise getting that news. Glad you got it back.
There was a necklace that belonged to my dad depicting Christ's face that I would take from a box on his dresser and wear when I was a kid. I lost it at some point, and all these years later I am 35 and still hope and wish someday it turns up in their house somewhere.
