I was just talking about this yesterday with a friend; I really feel no kinship to the majority of our countrymen. When you lose the common culture and values that make nationalism possible, there really is no reason to see New Yorkers as anything more than another competing group that has malicious intent towards your rights.
Yeah, the answer is to clearly vote harder to protect the branch that is incapable of doing anything and is currently being ignored.
If they ever try to carry out gun confiscation, being ready to use those guns will do you far more favors than having voted harder for a man that was going to protect SCOTUS for just a few more years, years that will just see things get worse anyway. That time is coming no matter who wins in November.
--British veteran of the Ukraine War, discussing the FN SCAR H.It's f*****g great, putting holes in people, all the time, and it just puts 'em down mate, they drop like sacks of s**t when they go down with this.
The ultimate in stupidity is the Glock Switches are used almost exclusively by gang-bangers, who happen to be what? Usually minorities. So instead of going after illegal giggle switches, which would net almost all people that they want to be let free, the instead go after people with the Ford Escort of guns. Because if you chip it, you will get 600hp.
The Second Amendment ACKNOWLEDGES our right to own and bear arms that are in common use that can be used for lawful purposes. The arms can be restricted ONLY if subject to historical analogue from the founding era or is dangerous (unsafe) AND unusual.
It's that simple.
They were all well aware of the type of person that would seek absolute power. Some of them opposed that while others had hit something of a glass ceiling within the British system and I assume that is why the only mention of punishment is for treason.
The Bill of Rights was forced in by those who were opposed to largesse while the BoR was opposed by those seeking absolute power.
Adams' and other federalists' sedition act as a method to stay in office was a very early example of thumbing their noses at limits on themselves/liberties of citizens. Jefferson failed by not hanging the whole lot of them.
They absolutely considered the possibility of lawless liars in government and gave the mechanism to deal with them- it’s called the 2nd Amendment and it ain’t about hunting or home defense- it’s about shooting crooked tyrannical politicians in the face when they pull crooked tyrannical shit.
Were all just a bunch of way too comfortable, too much to lose pussies right now to exercise that oh so important clause.
We interrupt this programme to bring you an important news bulletin: the suspect in the Happy Times All-Girl Glee Club slaying has fled the scene and has managed to elude the police. He is armed and dangerous, and has been spotted in the West Side area, armed with a meat cleaver in one hand and his genitals in the other...
Well, it would again seem to me to be the kind of lowest level Political pandering.
It's unconstitutional and yes they do know it, but lets reduce the whole issue to it's core. They feel someone doing something unconstitutional is perfectly fine as long as it fits the "Agenda".
So if Stalin walked in and said I can fix this, I just need to kill about 8 million people, the entire viewership for the view would be okay with that.
They do crap like this because, in their tiny little brains, they think they are doing something constructive and believe it will go through! And even if they can't get it passed, they are confident in their task of tying stuff up in court and hoping they can drain the bank accounts of the people and law firms/organizations presenting the case! The longer they can drag this out in court the longer it will take for the good guys to win, if ever! When ya look at the map of NY 95% of it is RED but they're mostly in the rule counties, the city controls the vote, look at CA, same thing. Like ya say this has little chance of passing the big test although I'm sure the good politicians will sleep well knowing they did something to combat "gun violence".
This is why I believe the victim of a frivolous lawsuit or malicious prosecution should be reimbursed for all attorneys fees and court costs once the case is thrown out, even if that occurs on appeal. Let it come out of the DOJ’s budget. The process itself has become the punishment and things will never get any better until they are taught a lesson.
~Rightful liberty is unobstructed action according to our will within limits drawn around us by the equal rights of others. I do not add 'within the limits of the law' because law is often but the tyrant's will, and always so when it violates the rights of the individual.
