This too! I own and carry the Glock. But I surely don't love it. Trigger, Grip angle, etc. But I know the one I have will work if I need it.

It would probably be easier for you to speak to the few you DO like?

I didn't want to like gLoCk so that probably doesn't count, so I'd have to say AK......

Generally speaking, there are very few guns I don't like.

    1) AKs. Ive had dozens of flavors, mostly in the '74 variant. I wanted to be an AK guy. Function over form in vintage cold war German camo and all that. Ive had them stock, then tricked out, short, long, etc..
I spent considerable time shooting them and getting to know the manual of arms. In the end I can shoot a boring AR pattern rifle so much consistently better.

    2) HK P7. Wish I never sold it off in hindsight but in practice it just didnt pan out as a modern CCW for me.

    3) CZ52 - I have some weirdo fascination with 7.62x25, prob. bc It was cheap when I was a broke college kid but holy hell I think I lost hearing shooting that round. Nice hammer though.

Two I liked were FN FAL and BM-62, all four were sold off back in the 80's-90's though, more of the brilliant financial decisions of my younger days.

Now for today's lesson in economics and monetary policy, I paid $680 for that NIB HK back around 1979, that $680 had the same buying power as $3,121 today.

That CPI inflation calc sucks all the joy out of remembering the good ol' days.

I paid $350 for my NIB HK91 back in 1983. Got a 93 for the same price...$700 plus change out the door. And I thought "I" paid too much.

That's true. I really don't love any pistol. The ones that I get a thrill from are on the 2011 platform and come with all the 1911/2011 reliability problems.

And outside of the AR, I can't think of a semi auto rifle that i'd take for Free.

There's a lot of Bolt guns to love however.

Beyond that, I'd say most ARs/5.56 guns I've owned. Too many years with an M4 to see them as anything special, and too many examples of the round not wanting to do what I want it to do. They have their place, but it's a very niche role for me.
You and me both. With the dawn of the internet I began reading about the mythical capability of the FN FiveseveN and grabbed a couple USGs when they finally decided to sell them to John Q Public. Then they decided the "civie" ammo was still too armor piercing and they went with a .40 grain round that was terribly anemic. I soon realized I had a very expensive .22 magnum.

Had plans to SBR a PS90 because it had that 50 round magic feed magazine. I decided instead to just sell the two USGs I had. Again I got lucky because I had a few thousand rounds of the original ammunition which was now fetching a premium so I made money unloading that as a package with 20 magazines.

HK VP9. I had a pair that had consecutive serial numbers I really wanted to like them.
    HK P30 I had 2 V1 and a V3. I sort of miss the V3.

My V3 got me a visit from the FBI. It ended up in a BG’s hand after I had sold it. I do not sell anything now. No matter how bad I hate it.

    BLASPHEMY!

But I get what you mean. More butt heavy than Michelle Obama, and snappy- I thought that between the weight and the magic of the gas delayed blow back that it would shoot like butter having an orgasm in slow motion.

Sig P365XL. Just doesn’t fit my hand right, don’t know what it is. Other ‘pocket’ pistols work better for me.

    It's that simple.
