The comments about peace are in concert with Putin and Lukashenko conducting joint tactical nuclear weapons exercises. I think the odds of Kyiv suffering nuclear strikes are greater than some wish to believe, particularly since the Biden admin and NATO have been talking about supplying Ukraine with weapons for the purpose of striking inside Russia, or otherwise lifting restrictions on same.

How old is that? Some parts seem recent. Others seem dated...
The Second Amendment ACKNOWLEDGES our right to own and bear arms that are in common use that can be used for lawful purposes. The arms can be restricted ONLY if subject to historical analogue from the founding era or is dangerous (unsafe) AND unusual.

    It's that simple.

Revealed - NATO plan to get US troops to the front line to fight RUSSIA: Alliance prepares for rapid deployment of American soldiers amid fears Moscow is plotting major war with Europe

    https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/art...ar-Europe.html

NATO is drawing up plans to send American troops to the frontlines of Europe in the event of an all-out conflict with Russia, it has been revealed.

New 'land corridors' are being carved out to quickly funnel soldiers through central Europe without local bureaucratic impediments, allowing NATO forces to pounce in an instant should Putin's devastating war in Ukraine move further west.

The plans are said to include contingencies in case of Russian bombardment, letting troops sweep into the Balkans via corridors in Italy, Greece and Turkey, or towards Russia's northern border via Scandinavia, officials told The Telegraph.
Tensions have ratcheted up in recent weeks, with Russian President Vladimir Putin openly acknowledging the 'possibility' of 'a full-scale Third World War' as he threatens 'fatal consequences' for western allies allowing Ukraine use of their weapons on Russian soil.
Yeah… it feels like this has been the trajectory we’ve been on for sometime now.

News flash, contingency planning is something the military has done since forever.

Why would they want that? They are having trouble with Ukraine, with a lack of weapons. He is smarter than to open up the can of whoop ass with NATO all in, full weapons free. The change in the air campaign alone would seriously change things for them.

Not to mention wargaming absurd and impossible scenarios, because that's how you keep the planners sharp. I wanna say I even saw listed a no-shit US Army war plan for if Vlad Dracula somehow escapes from Stoker's pages... though if they don't have one for Ernst Stavro Blofeld they better get to work QUICK.

Oh wait, Team Blofeld already controls the bureaucracy...

Seriously. Has no one ever heard of Reforger? This sounds like a non-story.

You’re probably thinking of CONPLAN 8888, which if I’m remembering correctly, was some shit dreamed up as a War College student group project. Not exactly a thing seriously endorsed, so much as a planning game that hopefully resulted in good planning experience for the dudes that did it, and got a laugh out of the rest of us.

So many of us thought that shit was hilarious at the time, that it got pretty frequently distributed in staffer circles like a meme.
