    Back n 04-05 I tested one of these. I ran it mostly with a single point and some times with the two point that I made up. I was working alot then and my carbine hung from that mount 4-5 hours a day, 3-4 days week for close to two years. It never failed me one time, great piece of kit.

    Hrmm yet another product that has lame QC and people over look it because those scratches would happen anyway? pfft

    The mount is fine. It's solid as a rock. Yep, it clamps securely to the mil-spec buffer tube. That's what I'm running.
