I've been working on my own loads of the Barnes TacXP 185gr bullets in .45 ACP, and have also been experimenting with the 200gr bullets, which do work despite Barnes' load data not including it.
However, the 200gr are, despite only 15gr more copper, a lot more expensive.
From a ballistics standpoint, what is the presumptive improvement, if any, of the 200gr bullet over a 185gr bullet?
