It’s a nice 34 with Ameriglow sights and 4.5 lb trigger it says on box. Still the trigger feels heavy for a range & mostly competition gun.
What is the Goto trigger for Glock’s ?

Throw on a 3.5lb disconnection and leave the rest alone. Let him get some time on the gun and break things in as he gets better you can look at changing more things.

Overwatch Precision has a very strong following. They keep all the inherent safeties intact. I haven't put near enough rounds through mine to comment, but others love them.

As a self proclaimed “not a trigger snob” since it’s an easy rabbit whole to get lost down, I’m very much a fan of the flat face overwatch triggers with the factory connector. Maybe a minus connector if that particular gun needs it.
1911s would be a different story but it’s Glock so good enough is sufficient.
Except sights. Dawson precision adjustables is what you seek if it’s not going to get a RDS

Thanks for feedback. Does it matter that it is a Gen5 ?
Can someone point me to the exact Overwatch I should get?

Id opt for the poly version;

I can’t speak to their efficacy in Gen 5 pistols (all mine are G3) but a flat trigger is a flat trigger so the benefits should be congruent.

It's already got a 3.5 connector in it. I threw a $10 Wolff competition spring kit in and did a light polish on the contact surfaces and got a totally reliable 3.5 lb fairly smooth trigger pull in my wife's 34. Just depends on how much you want to spend.
Brother, I’d just run it stock.
