I don’t know if it’s an influx of applications due to the brace rule of just a hostile administration slow rolling us, but it’s unacceptable.

Tax Free SBR SP5 day yesterday.
    2/2/23 Submitted
    3/31 approved.

Not bad, but slower than the other Free SBR I got on my Sig 553 Which was2/1 to 3/9

Also odd is they were all filed at roughly the same time and in the same envelope. I have a MKE AP5-p, Draco, Noveske Pistol and B&T pistol are all pending.

I was waiting to see if we were successful with that injection before I register a few more. The other guns I have I never intended on SBRing (like my Galil ACE where the brace is as good as a stock) but things aren't looking great so I might just go ahed and do it to be safe. At least they won't have to be engraved I guess. I'll bet they will be pending for years.
Let those who are fond of blaming and finding fault, while they sit safely at home, ask, ‘Why did you not do thus and so?’I wish they were on this voyage; I well believe that another voyage of a different kind awaits them.”

Go ahead and do it. Look at it this way. The feds will pay for you to have the proper stock. Plus, you'll have a de facto factory SBR.

I applied for two of the "free" SBR stamps on the same day. Still no word there, but at least that stupidness didn't shut down the rest of the approvals.
First of the SBR stamps came through today. Applied 01/27/23, approved 04/03/23. 66 total days.

No word yet on the 2nd one.

I think they're getting pretty backlogged with all the extra Form 1s. I'm actually surprised people are getting them back in 60 days. Once we get closer to end of the amnesty period, I wouldn't be at all surprised to see them go over a year.

    Agreed.

While I had 5 sent at once, and still waiting on 2… can’t really fault Martinsburg for DC crap. I will be Form 1ing my TAC-14 on the next paycheck… just to get the ball rolling with that. Will give me some time to figure out refinishing and engraving (probably Tar Heel for the engraving).

25 days, one of my quicker approvals, but I'm sure the ATF is going to make me wait for the free stamp.......
