    First build - SPR

    First off pics:

Gun is basically a mk12 mod 1 with a few deviations. Surefire fh for my can and an ADM mount.

Receivers: Brownells 16a1 and flat top m4
BCG: Brownells phosphate mil-spec (c158 bolt)
    Barrel: Centurion MK12 18”
    Handguard: KAC FF RAS
LPK: Geissele with an LMT trigger I had. SSA-E inbound.
    Furniture: Brownells retro M16a1
Optic: vortex viper hs/t 4-16 pulled off my 22 for now. Thinking of going to the PST 2-10 but I’m open to suggestions, need FFP and mil/mil.

Range is closed this weekend but I’ll get it out there soon enough. Gonna be loading for it as well.

Update: Picked up an NXS 2.5-10x32 here on the ee. Still working on load dev but it’s shooting about 1-1.2 moa at 100y. Shoots factory ammo well out to 550 though, was hitting the 18” plate consistently (I know it’s on the large size).

    Very good looking rifle.
I am just a regular guy, trying not to screw things up too much.

That is outstanding, and it sounds like it's performing well. Try some Hornady 75gr BTHP match in it. Good stuff.

I will try some of that, thanks for the tip. Still experimenting to see what works best. So far I’ve used IMI 77 razorcore and Winchester 62gr otm bulk 5.56 ammo. Got some Magtech 77gr Sierra ammo to try as well.

Reliability wise it’s been boring. Locks back on everything I’ve run including my reloads. That rifle length gas is sweet.
