I think what sounded like full-auto are pistol shots, glass breaking, and echoes from each.

I've never thought rock-in magazines (AK, M14, etc) were inferior to straight-in, just a different choice.

How many times have we all laughed at guys who fire a shot (or less) as the magazine falls to the ground during a competition/training? Too many to count. Glad the cop is okay. He's now the .gif for push-pull!
Somebody needs to send that dude a Pat Rogers "moose cock" patch. The lady cop with the body cam did great work.

Based on pictures of other response events, possibilities include having the magazine in backwards, having the Eotech on backwards...

Had to wade through a bunch of links on twitter to find and confirm the crazy murderer's gun as a Taurus, but it's not a G2C, it looks more like an older TH9, compare the picture in the link below and the link above:

    https://www.taurususa.com/product-de...crumbseries=TH

Taurus changed the stippling pattern in the grip but the shape of the grip, controls, trigger guard hook are still the same.

Riots are like sports, it's better to watch it on TV at home.

Just watched the video from inside. His slide into hell was gratifying.

Was standing right there with the fam last month, even my son recognized it.

I dont hear a mag, more importantly I don’t see one?

It sure sounds like FA, but I noticed that the mics ‘bloom’ on the loudness of the shots, so maybe that is what is causing it to seem to periodic.

There are four cops. The one that runs across, the rifle ‘shooter’, Cincinnati’s Blackwidow and one other cop to her right that is out in the open. I don’t see if he had a rifle or a handgun.

The rifle guy had an issue. He got behind cover and got back in the fight lickity split.

    The perp went down HARD.

    5. Whitney Austin, one of the surviving victims, is a Fifth Third Bank vice president

Fifth Third Bank's vice president and digital product lending manager was shot 12 times in Thursday's Downtown shooting, her husband said.

Whitney Austin is now undergoing surgery at University of Cincinnati Medical Center. Her husband, Waller Austin, said he is hopeful she will make a full recovery.
For once at least the bad guy goes down fast and a good guy is the one that survives lots of hits. I really want to hear more about that.

..except in the first frame the rifle is visible, before he attempts to fire, there is no magazine, and in the shot of the ground where he was standing, after he (may or may not have fired), there is no magazine. He didn't bring a horse to the rodeo.

Video from inside the tower and police body cams. Give those cops medals!
And THAT is how it's correctly done. Female body cam officer passed calm and important information and stayed in the game, even when another officer ducked into her line of fire.

I think rifle guy didn't bring a loaded rifle...details are important.

I think this type of response is as good as it gets even with the fumbles.

I think the rifle was not loaded, as crazy as it seems.

Maybe I didn't emphasize it enough, the rifle shooter messed up, but he got back in the fight right away. Things go wrong, he recovered fast. Kudos. I'd hate to be judged by my last rifle match where I forgot to turn on my red dot, my stage plan went to crap and I went long on round count and ended with a super ugly off hand mag change and bolt drop. And that is with out people shooting at me.

If I didn't make it clear, yes he recovered about as well as you can recover from something like that. Best thing about body cams is training videos, what happens when you bring a rifle with no magazine and what happens when you stay calm and remember your training.

Didn't mean to sound overly critical of rifle guy, at least he came to fight even if he didn't bring all of the tools he intended to bring. I think I'm just overly impressed by the one officers who kept it all calm, cool and collected before, during and after the shooting. It's a pretty rare thing. She made sure everyone knew where she was at and what she was doing.

If I knew who she was, she'd have one box of cookies coming her way and I'm pretty stingy when it comes to giving somebody a cookie.

A coupon for Greater's Ice cream for staying cool. There is a shop in that square. It is the only 'pot' I like, French Pot ice cream.
