    $1800 SCAR

If you could buy a mint SCAR w/ just a few mags thru it for $1800-$1900 dollars would you do it. Lets say you already have your 5.56 bases covered and you are definitely not rich but do have the money!!

Well, is it just a want, since you "already have your 5.56 bases covered"? (or is it 7.62?)

Training & ammo is something just about everyone could use more of.

If you have the disposable cash and a test fire of the Scar is perfect it all comes down to how much you really want it.
We are all inclined to judge ourselves by our ideals; others, by their acts.

For the price it sounds like you could always get your money out of it plus you would have the experience of shooting one for awhile if you decided you didn't need it after all.

Depends, SCAR-L....no way. SCAR-H.... Hell yeah.

I just dont see any reason to pay $1800 for the SCAR-L when i can build an AR for the same price that includes mags and optics

You will not find any SCAR for $1800 any time soon, so you should jump on it if you can.

Honestly, at $1800, there has to be an "issue" or two...

If it came with no mags and a dead dog tied to the stock, as long as it didn't have any operational issues, $1800 is still a great deal.

You could always buy it now and sell it in November.
