I took pictures for you as I just followed the same process for my 751.

I drove out the roll pin which secured the end plate.

I then drove out the hinge pin.

I used a replacement stock hinge pin from JDI (doesn't have a hole in the center), but you could probably re-use the original. You won't need the cup spring that comes in the kit.

I used a 1/8" diameter roll pin (sourced from a Brownells kit) to secure the stock hinge pin. The original roll pin that secured (and went through the center of) the end plate was too small.

I inserted the roll pin from the inside of the stock adapter.

I tapped it in until it seated against the indentation in the stock hinge pin.

The adapter swings freely and the stock pin is secure. Done!

Gorgeous family. What does the 751 weigh? Did you buy the m4 stock adapter from JDI?

Barfly. You rock. Thanks for taking the time to do those detailed pics. In the days of condescension and ego online, this was really helpful.

Which brace do you prefer if you were accidentally to incedentally shoulder it? Can't wait for a review of the SAPR. Got my form 1 for my 553r in so now I just need the rifle. But that 308 sure is tempting.

Nice to think SIGs are no longer the rare beast they once were. I'm probably going to break down and grab a 751 eventually. Just curious why you haven't officially SBR'd the other two, or is it a work in progress?

Josh. I got mine from JDI. 150 bucks I think.

    No problem.

The 751 looks and feels great. I haven't had time to hit the range. Hopefully this weekend.

I will submit the paperwork, probably this weekend. I received the 551 last week and the 751 today. I know of others that submitted prior to receipt but I haven't been as motivated.

Ah work in progress, gotcha. I was really resisting the 751 urge until you posted that pic.

I really like my 553 but from handling the 751 a bit over the last two days, I must say, this platform really seems to handle well in .308. I need to get a Form1 filed sooner rather than later.
