Everything I've seen looks good. I enjoy the reticle. I'm intrigued by the rechargeable battery and the mini usb port. I want to see what kind of battery life it gets as well.

The mini-usb port gives me pause since I've broken a ton of phone usb cables/ports. Though I guess you aren't charging the rifle while your using it... Seems like the electronics could have been simplified to just accept rechargeable batteries instead of actually recharging them; but I'm not an electrical engineer.

    Everything else looks very intriguing.

It does accept rechargeable batteries, so you don't have to charge them in the sight.

The combo you don't want is to put a normal CR123a in there and plug in the usb charger. I wonder if they have a cutoff for that case.

Correct, no need to charge the batteries in the sight, but you have that option. Also, we have a safety circuit in case someone tries to charge a regular CR123A in the sight.

Looks tasty, can't wait to try one out. No auto shut-off feature, correct?
What if this whole crusade's a charade?

I don't think I have all the final info yet, so don't hold me to this, but I believe if it does have auto-shutoff it can be disabled.

I'm very interested in overall size dimensions. Mainly compared to the Eotech EXPS line. I really liked that optic but hated how bulky it was and how much overhang there was when mounted. I wish it were narrower, but this appears to be just that. Any more profile shots of the UH-1 mounted to reference?
