    Not my experience at all. I have both all German & Exter guns and no issues. Probably more Sigs than any other brand, but far from a fanboy. I will say I got rid of my Kimber & SA 1911s after getting my first Sig 1911. I have the nightmare, nighmare carry, scorpion, & C3. I think they're a great choice for an off-the-shelf 1911. Otherwise P226 Legion, P226, P320, P938, P229, P220, P220 9mm, P365. Only issue I had out of any of them was the P320 had some type of crazy heavy grease in the striker channel that caused occasional light strikes until I sorted that out.
