I had to look up what an arc mag was, same thing as the Mean Arms Endomag, even the price, LOL. Interesting that CMMG is using it too. Now if they would just run a decent sale on the things.....

For what it is worth. I have a PSA PX-9. AN AR 9mm pistol with a 10.5" barrel and a Kak brace. I have it paired with a Glock 27 (running a 9mm conversion barrel). The AR9 is fantastic. Accuracy is great with either irons or a Vortex red dot. I have had zero hickups with any ammo to include reloads. Just to test it I have stopped cleaning it to see how long it takes to foul-up. So far I'm only at about 250 rounds.

Hey 4t5', how about telling us a little more about your piece? Cost? Materials (ie, is it poly, alloy?). It is a handsome gun, and your photography sets it off.

I'm going to see how I like the trigger before upgrading. I have MBUS sights I can use for backup. I'll figure out a light after playing around with it.
For any of you following this thread that are on the fence, Primary Arms just put the 5 inch FM on sale for $599: https://www.primaryarms.com/foxtrot-...arms-exclusive
Have you looked at the Sig MCX Rattler? Chambered in .300 blackout (not my favorite round) but it felt great in my paws and I was in the beginning stages of being decommissioned but got hands on time at the range. This Sub had serious potential as the new sub machine gun meat grinder. I almost liked it more than the MP7...almost...However, I know what I am about to say will piss people off but I don't care. Any long gun I own will be loaded with the typical 5.56, 308 or if I customize my weapon into a .40 cal shooter. Sorry but the 9mm does not change bad behavior fast enough or long enough and when you see them bounce off towel headed skulls as many times as I have you move up in caliber. Don't get me wrong, for plinking it's perfect, and in the MP5, CZ Scorpion or my fav, the UMP in 9mm it is a deadly round. When it comes to my life I choose what has worked more efficiently and for a pistol round? 155gr .40 JHP will make the idiot stop doing what he was doing or will bleed out quickly. OK not all at once! lol. Oh and yes some teams have been using the .40 for a long time now you just will never read about it or hear about it and no I cannot expand on this either.
And your point is....? I am well rehearsed on ballistics more than I want to elaborate. Basically, a pistol round sucks compared to a rifle round and if that was your point I agree. Granted I did veer off course in regards to the topic. If you are trying to tell me the 9mm is just as effective as the .40 we will never agree but that is ok. I say you use what you choose and I will do the same. I am not here to stir up the 9vs40 debate I was stating a fact of what is occurring on the battlefield and why the Military is taking a closer look at the .40 not as a sub round specifically a sidearm round. Personally I do not know a police officer that uses the 9mm around here. Now that HK has dropped prices and you no longer need a loan to buy one, you are more likely to see them carry either the VP40 or P30L and the P30 in .40. But you just sent me a link without looking at my occupation since 1984.
