    RIP sir.

Pre-emptive Reminder: Keep it classy, if one doesn't agree with his policy, leave that out of this thread.

Riots are like sports, it's better to watch it on TV at home.

    I hope he finds peace....

If still baffles me ..that he wins DSI but loses the economy and didn't take a handle on it.

Import ban and other stuff going on..

    I hope he may RIP.

Wishing you fair winds and following seas, Lt Bush.

He flew 58 combat missions off aircraft carriers, earned three Air Medals, and was awarded a Distinguished Flying Cross. His ship was awarded a Presidential Unit Citation, which he shared.

I got to meet the President and Mrs. Bush while he was in office. Their faces lit up with real joy when I explained I was from Texas, and that we shared neighbors and friends. Mrs Bush came over and talked to me, and later sent me a personal thank you letter. They asked me to pass on their best wishes to their friends back in Texas, and asked many questions about their families and activities. Their kindness was genuine and greatly appreciated back home.

I know that George, Barbara and their daughter Robin are together now, and truly happy.

My respects and sympathies are with the Bush family, and their many friends.

The last President from the greatest generation. The only President who's hand I've shaken. No-one can argue his service to our Country over many decades.

    RIP shipmate.

May not have agreed with him 100% of the time, but enough so that I voted for him twice. I think he was genuine.

While I have huge problems with many of his politics and policy decisions, I respect his service and carrier pilot is no easy job.

I was on the road, saw the flags flying at half staff, didn't know what was up until I pulled over at one of my watering holes at which point I bought my friends a round and toasted the man. R.I.P. sir.

    RIP Mr President.

I escorted both he and Barbara to and from planeside at the airport more times than I can remember in their travels to and from Houston. Two of the friendliest and personable people I've ever met.

Well he's on his way home. It was a nice funeral. watched / listened to much of it on NBC. Except for Chuck Todd doing his best to point fingers at Trump even NBC was pretty laid back.

    RIP
