the holes line up fine on my jig , not sure what you are talking about
Actually it did come in handy for the hole spacings.
My barrels already had the one dimple directly under the gas port (how I knew for sure this thing was not lined up and investigated further).
When using their cone shaped set screw that rests on top the gas port and then looking at the holes on the bottom it was obvious that the first hole was 'off' and the jig was wonky.
Using a different set screw I had laying around that was not pointy on the end I was able to look through the drilling holes and manually line up the first hole with the correct pre-existing dimple and then secure the jig with the replacement set screw before dimpling the second hole.
The different spacings for the dimples are all correct and everything worked out perfectly after figuring it out.
With all that said - It should not have been that hard for them to get that thru alignment correct and not planning on buying from them again. Should not have to 'check' tools like this to make sure they are not wonky before you use them if they come from a reputable company in MY opinion.
Glad OP got a 'good' one from them.
Stupid question….did you check the other end?
