Any love for the K2 Daewoo?

Turned out to be a gem to me.

I had one. I loved the way it shot. I will say, though, that the furniture is more fragile than an M4. The rubber butt pad is held in place by a big bolt, and the nut up inside the buttstock is held by what appears to be a fiberglass trunnion. DO NOT OVERTIGHTEN THAT BOLT. I literally broke the trunnion and could not find a spare stock or part to repair it. I had to super glue the butt pad in place. Other than that, it's an interesting cross between an AR and an AK and I actually liked it quite a bit.

Mine says "AR-100" on the receiver.

I bought it recently and it's in new condition, but I have not had a chance to shoot it yet.

Who has the picture of the LA Riot Rooftop Korean with the paratrooper model?

I shot one in the 90s not knowing what it was at the time. It was fun but I dunno if I would ever get one.

The best chance for us to see the Daewoo rifles on the US market again rests with Lionheart Industries is currently bringing in or making(assembling really) variants of the DP51 pistols.

I have talked to them about this and they have expressed interest but wanted to be sure there was sufficient market. Totally understandable. IS there sufficient market?? I hope so, but I'm not really sure.

Always a fun gun and reminds me of the AR-180. Still need a K2 in my stable. For a time had a K1A1 but I prefer the side folders.
It's hard to be a ACLU hating, philosophically Libertarian, socially liberal, fiscally conservative, scientifically grounded, agnostic, porn admiring gun owner who believes in self determination.

    Chuck, we miss ya man.

From the photo you can tell I have not beat the crap out of mine. I assume it would hold up since since it is the rifle of the South Korean military.

I have an AR180/18 as well, and while both piston systems only the fire control pieces to me are similar (AR type selector). Yes SteyrAUG, you need both. (I assume you have an AUG, I am jealous!)

That specific rooftop Korean picture should be a K Pop boy band cover and it is a sin against Almighty God that it isn’t.

If the L.A. riots happened today, I don't think the police would retreat and do nothing. More than likely they'd be sent to disarm the shop owners.
