I have an ACRO P2 on pre-order at Euro Optic. Still waiting for it's release.

There are one or two guys who shoot a lot that have had to send their Holosuns back a couple of times to get one that worked. We're talking the HS models that are all the rave.

Check out the Trijicon RSO. You don't have to remove it to replace the battery.

The T-2 isn't designed for use on a reciprocating slide. Mounting would be quite difficult to begin with, and I know of a couple of folks that have broken the rheostats on the T-1 when paired with the old Unity ATOM cuts, I don't see why the T-2 would be any different in that respect.

That's what the the ALG 6-second mount was supposed to be intend for.

Sure, but most folks trying to get into pistols with RDSes aren't looking at non-reciprocating optic mounts, given that they occupy such a niche role. Finding holsters for the 6SM, AOM, or more competition oriented mounts is a real chore, particularly if you want retention or concealability.

As mentioned, Holosun or ACRO P2 seems to be your best bet. I'd skip the Leupold based on Cowan's drop test unless this is strictly a competition gun.

I changed my RMR battery once since owning it and the zero didn't shift any appreciable amount (I had my Glock milled for the ATEI pro cut). That said, I still plan to zero the optic after the next battery change

The SRO is the least duty grade of all the optics mentioned. I've had to send back a dead Comp M5 to Aimpoint before, eventually every brand fails.

I have had 3 RMR Type 2's, 1 Holosun 509T, 1 Holosun 507K, and 6 Holosun 507's. Pick one that you like and roll with it. The 509T is my current duty optic, and I carry a G17 RMR and P365XL 507K as my CCW guns.
