I want to put in a good word for Aero Precision. I have used them a few times and they are easy to install and firmly attach to the upper receiver.
I run a 10.5 Spikes barrel with a GA Paladin muzzle brake/adapter and a 12" Seekins Rail. Then I made a home muzzle can, 4" long out of an old 1.5"dia. solvent trap housing, (you can also use an old Maglite flashlight battery case with 20tpi threads) that I use when shooting un suppressed. (keeps the blast going forward just to be a good neighbor at the range) I can unscrew that and attach my silencer and it looks and works great. I don't like to see 1 or 3" of exposed barrel between end of barrel and muzzle device. Everything fits inside the handguard and looks a lot more cleaner IMO. Everything is ceracoated to match.

I'm a big fan of SLR M-LOK handguards.
Maybe not exactly what you were considering but I have an Aero Precision 11in handguard on a 10.5 with a Noveske KX3. I added a small hand stop for indexing and I've really enjoyed it.

I have this hand guard on my AR with 10.5 inch barrel
