I think this threat goes well beyond just the need to arm yourself, many churches have security details during service. They need to be aware of such things as suspicious packages and bags etc. and do not hesitate to call 911 and have the bomb squad come check them out.

These people are crazy and very dangerous.

Yep, they will follow the abortion clinic bombers handbook. With security cameras that can be reviewed remotely being so affordable, every church should have them.

I worry more about the sneak in at 2am and plant a timed or remote det device and then wait until the house is full. This is why security cameras would be so important. Was there a guy sneaking around the property the night before, better take a close look at everywhere he went. Was a strange vehicle parked and left, better have it checked out.

They will probably also hit the softest targets. Churches that are activist in nature will probably have their guard up, places that simply hold services for regular folks will probably be wide open and considered "legit target."

With the SCOTUS ruling, I'd expect some Weather Underground type organizations to manifest and declare war. We are very close to a perfect storm that could give us some late 60s levels of violence (and we already did a summer of riots and burning), but now the government will be backing the activists.

The problem is parsing out who is the fruit-loop protestor and who is a mass-killer…. Which might be part of their plan- especially with the gun ruling at the same time. I can see some dumb-ass liberal thinking that they’ll get a two-fer and show up with a gun/fake-gun and pro-abortion message yelling…. You are going to get put down HARD.

There are going to be about a dozen states with comprehensive bans, and if you are really considering an abortion, road tripping to another state is still a viable alternative to back alley scenarios and hangers.

Also most states will still permit abortions, just not in the 8th month. If a person is seriously worried about needing an abortion, they seriously need to plan and plan early. It now requires the same level of responsibility as say "owning a machine gun" which isn't illegal, just heavily regulated in some states.

So, has anybody heard of any attacks overnight? Not seeing anything in the news. Pleasantly surprised, though I wouldn't be surprised to see the media try to keep attacks hushed up.
