It's hard to be a ACLU hating, philosophically Libertarian, socially liberal, fiscally conservative, scientifically grounded, agnostic, porn admiring gun owner who believes in self determination.

    Chuck, we miss ya man.

The OP is spot on. These MKE clones are fantastic and run. Mine also seems to have no trouble turning money into noise and has eaten everything I've fed it.

Thanks OP, I now have to own a flash hider that I've been telling myself I didn't need.

My boy won't put ours down and makes me bring it every time we go to the range.

A member here 8 years and the MP5 thread finally makes you post!!! haha

I talked to Zenith CS and ended up sending back my Z-5P in January. It was out about 2-3 weeks. They said they tweaked the magwell and adjusted the feed lips on 2 of my MKE mags. So far no issues feeding the truncated cone ammo. I am relatively confident that the German HK mags will feed anything 100%. Still need more rounds in the KCI/ATI/MKE mags to get some confidence everything is to spec with these mags. The HK mags worked before the service.

I found a good method to help police brass and keep my yard clean. Its the Caldwell AR brass catcher:

About a month from now I should have this 2010 ATI/MKE AT94P. Can't wait to see how it shoots compared to the K. The front sight is a night sight and I assume that was done by the original owner, as well as the "Navy" SEF housing.

...and like with the ARs, I can't leave well enough alone. Have this flat trigger coming. If I like it, they are only $38 to get both pistols outfitted. Unlike the Geiselle SDs that I wished I had for every AR lower.

8 year hiatus and he post, good catch, Strider 1500, welcome aboard

ray, you could attach a garbage can to your back and bend over while shooting and not use the brass catcher, it would lighten the gun. Just joshing.

Glad to hear your gun is chewing up your ammo/money with no issues. HK mags are the best mags in all the guns they make. HK mags are supreme , Period.

Please make a sketch of how this would work. It would save me buying another rail/mounts for the new roscoe! And lighter to boot!

I cannot for the life of me find a folding brace for the MP5. I have these parts but keep balking at taking a saw to the buttstock. Then I would need to figure out how to attach the Tail Hook part.

PS - The flat trigger is more show than go, at least with replacing a US trigger in an ambi pack. My next order from HKParts will probably include another one for the SEF pack.

Dude, if you hack that non F stock up to add a brace there's a special place in Teutonic hell for you. Those stocks, especially in good shape, are getting pretty rare and valuable. If you're going to hack one, do a ATI stock. Hell, I'll trade you mine.

Ask and you shall receive. I like the SB tactical because you can add the B&T stock portion to the folding mechanism from the brace once you get your Form 1 back for around $140.

That is 100% Pakistani Black Stock. And it ain't too gd beaucoup!

I did have an ATI F-Stock, which was very nice. But with the longer LOP I sold it and decided to use the POF A3 for my brace project.

Fuzzy - OpticsPlanet has been out of stock for months on the MP5 brace. Click the availability thing. HKParts has the older ones in stock but at $250. Other places sold them around $165. So I can suck it up and pay and chop the slider.

As an aside, there is a company that will take an F-Stock with 4 positions and modify it with a 3D printed part for the Tailhook brace. I would rather SBR but that requires the AR adapter and stock.
