Thanks for the story brother, S/F

As I'm sure you know, things have gotten a lot better as far as weapons manipulation goes, but we're still not there yet. Like some of the others have said, we need to focus more on being professionals, not "looking professional".

I believe in peace, love and extremely violent weapons systems... just in case that whole peace-and-love thing doesn't work out.

What an amazing post, I think I will print off a copy to stick in our briefing room. Thank you very much for this Paul. Oh and to whoever the "operator" was that saw the Bushmasters in use by Rangers, I'll have you know bullshit is a stinky cologne around here.

    glad

Personally, I take as much classes as I can take. I took as many as I can take during my time in.

I was an IT geek but still wanted some experience.

    Thanks for your story again.

Training and education is forever in my opinion.

Thanks man, and thanks for your service as well. Yeah after speaking with a few current Marines over the past year I'm VERY happy with the direction things have gone over he years in the Corps, however it's happened far too slow and still have a ton to learn. I still see plenty of vids of Marines in A'stan doing some of the same stupid ass shit that got me wounded. If our enemy had decent optics we'd sustain WAY more small arms fire casualties.
