Just signed for a new house, so I have a quick and easy question. How far in advance do i need to send in the 5320 and change of address for the trust? A week or two, less or more? Same state same town just a few blocks away to a bigger house.

Edited.
Just send it in whenever. You moved in state so no real timeline or deadline. They probably would tell you to send it in 30 days.

It would never occur to me to do this.

I believe from a technical standpoint it is requested that you notify them of a change of address if you move in state

My understanding was always that it was requested, not required, for in-state moves.
Out of state moves are a different ball game.

Look at your form 4. Older ones don’t have an in state requirement. Newer ones do. The form changed.

You don't have to send it. The form requests it, but there's no law regarding it.
If you look at the actual law and what's on the 5320.20, it says nothing about in state moves or transportation.
