I have at least 1k of 8126N, and at least 3 cases matching lot. It's not what I have loaded, I prefer IMI 69 OTM.

I have been playing with Sierra 63 grain SMP's for my home defense bullet. Now for the right powder load.

I load 62gr Federal Fusion MSR, but would not feel undergunned in any way with my mk262. I like knowing that I can get fusion msr anywhere with no worries about some company or manufacturer wanting to play the 'this month anyone can buy it but next month only LEO can buy it' game.
I use Black Hills MK262 for every situation in every gun.
SBR to Heavy Target rifle
Hunting, defense, etc
Same load in everything.

This. I run the Fusion MSR rounds as well. If I can't find them, I go with the 64gr Gold Dots for the same reason. I can typically find either one at any given time, and the POI shift between the two is very minimal. From what I've seen and read, they're very similar rounds.
Hornady played that game with 8126N, and I sold it all off (1180 rounds). If I can't buy more to replace what I shoot I don't want it. Hornady can suck it...I like knowing that I can get fusion msr anywhere with no worries about some company or manufacturer wanting to play the 'this month anyone can buy it but next month only LEO can buy it' game.
69 OTM and 77 OTM 5.56 IMI, CBC, Black Hills are my preferred rounds. Playing with TMKs might be coming.
Have yet to see a poor performance test, accuracy, feeding, terminal performance, etc with any length barrel with the Black Hills 50g TSX, now "optimized" with sealed case mouth and primer. HD mags are all loaded with these since I left the FBI Police unit and am no longer beholden to have the Bu issued rounds in my Colt. Been shooting the BH round for years, admittedly I don't use them for training so it's not thousands of rounds, but at least a few mags a year to ensure I'm hitting what I'm aiming at, and never had a failure of any sort.

"Why "zombies"? Because calling it 'training to stop a rioting, starving, panicking, desperate mob after a complete governmental financial collapse apocalypse' is just too wordy." or in light of current events: training to stop a rioting, looting, molotov cocktail throwing, skinny jeans wearing, uneducated bunch of lemmings duped by, or working directly for, a marxist organization attempting to tear down America while hiding behind a race-based name
