Well, at least holsters will not be hard to find.

I'll probably get one somewhere along the way.

Why go through the hassle and just get the Ciener Glock conversion? Approximately $250 with magazine and you’re shooting YOUR pistol 🔫

A .22 that will probably average about 3 inch groups at 25 yards like the full size models is not much of a trail gun. Trainer, yes. Trail gun no. Anything that struggles with accuracy such that hitting a squirrel humanely in a vital area (or even anywhere) at 25 yards rates a solid “meh” or worse in that role.

Rather have a Ruger Mk IV for that, sorry.

My Ruger SR-22 works. Once I get over it, they come out with a 15 round mag, and the price is right; I’ll get one.

But announcing an announcement and hyping it up for a .22? Really? Are you sure?
    Even then...Keltec has the CP33....now that's different.

Got to make it legal in all 50 states, maybe later they will offer more capacity.

While I was annoyed by the hype also, I’ll be buying one of these for training value. Hopefully there’ll be a Blue Label price.

What did y’all expect; 30w phased plasma pistols with vouchers for free hookers? Other pistol makers offer complete .22lr pistols and conversions in the same form factor as their popular centerfire stablemates. A rimfire G19 makes sense.

Hopefully the G44 .22LR will actually replicate the Glock trigger.

The M&P .22 is kind of like the Sig 1911-22 in that it is made by another manufacturer and rebranded. In the M&P .22's case by Walther.

I am a Glock fan, owning three of their 9’s. Depending on how decent the trigger is on these out of the box, and if a reliable factory OEM or aftermarket ( Magpul ?) 15 rd mag becomes available before any future hi-cap mag ban would go into affect, I might pick one up. But presently, I am happy with my 16+1 Taurus TX22’s reliability and accuracy, and it’s trigger and price point are also excellent at it's price point https://www.ammoland.com/2019/07/tau...l-rebate-deal/

    Gun store conversations everywhere:

    Whatcha got there?

    A Glock .22

    A .40 cal?

    Oh, I mean a Glock 44

They make Glocks in 44 Mag now??

No, it's a Glock 44 which is .22 long rifle

    Oh...well that's not confusing
