    Stuff

I come in Friday morning. I had to cancel a dentist appointment for Friday morning I made when we were starting at 3 p.m. rather than noon ;(

Staying at the Lafayette in one of the cabin rooms.

The weather has turned just absolutely miserable. Today the windchill was low 20s. If you are looking for weather predictions I'd go off of WTAP out of parkersburg, right across the river, rather than Weather.com. Call me a cynic, but I've been in a crew shell about to swamp into the Muskingum with 5 inches of water on days weather.com called dry.

Also keep in mind that we are going to experiencing the lows, not the highs. I can't explain it adequately enough, but as soon as the sun goes past a ridgeline it is like 10 degrees cooler, or so it seems.

Here is what WTAP is showing now.

Thursday Night: A slight chance of showers after 10pm. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 38. Chance of precipitation is 20%.

Friday: A chance of showers. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 47. Chance of precipitation is 50%.

Friday Night: Mostly cloudy, with a low around 35.

Saturday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 52.

Saturday Night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 39.

Veterans Day: Mostly sunny, with a high near 58.

Sunday Night: Mostly cloudy, with a low around 42.

Balmy, I should pack shorts just in case it gets that hot.

The AK Guys (Katar and myself) will be at the Holliday Inn as well, coming in Thursday evening.

I just got back from spending Saturday night with everyone. Weather wasn't bad and we all had a great time.

Thanks again to Ken and Larry for letting me stop in.

Quote from the catwalk after we did our 6 man house shoot: "The Canadians killed a friendly."

Hoser "A's" response: "Yes I did kill the friendly as I only saw one hand. That's good enough reason in Iraq."

FYI John was "Hoser A" - I was "Hoser B"

My justification on the "no shoot" popper was only one hand was visible.

    - Fun class -- I enjoyed it, and recommend it. Ken and Larry are excellent people.

It was fun going through it again and managed to pick up a few more things that I had missed the first time through.

My bad. I cannot keep you Canadians apart (as you all look the same).
