One advantage of a dedicated 22 platform is that you don't need to run that filthy shooting 22 ammo through your main carry. I mean, yeah you can clean it out, but myself, I don't mind letting my 22s get pretty filthy.

Um...your main carry would not be chambered in .22LR

I think he means you aren’t getting FCG all dirty using a conversion. You would just have a dedicated gun.

I was looking at a cheap G22 police trade in as a host for a .22 conversion. Now, I will wait and see how the unpaid beta testers do.

At some point, it really will need a red dot and that might not be possible with the light slide.

The mk iv video made me want one with a cheap red dot on it.

I'm glad I didn't read this thread until today, cause I'd have been quite disappointed also. I agree that either this or a conversion on a dedicated frame makes more sense that running a .22 LR conversion on the primary's frame.

For those complaining of the 10 round capacity, feel free to name one established .22 LR pistol with anything but a single stack magazine (and ~10 round) capacity.

I don't shoot them nearly as much as centerfires, but I thoroughly enjoy my three non-Olympic rimfires, and put more rounds through the blued MKIV Target than the others, cause it's so damn easy to clean.
