    Thumbs up Found a LM&T M4 5.56 Carbine today

I stopped at my local firearm store today and the owners son said I have something to show you.

Then out comes a brand new LM&T M4 5.56 Carbine. He had ordered a slew of them and also some uppers and lowers but because of large military contracts this one rifle got shipped today. It was built June 12th of this year.

Well I had this Kimber TAC II I just never seemed to shoot so I went home and returned quickly and traded it off toward the LM&T Carbine.

Took it home cleaned and oiled installed my ACOG TA11F and now can't wait to get it fired.

Congratulations on your new LMT. You will not regret your purchase. I get really happy when any of you guys get a new toy, especially of such high quality.

    Enjoy that black rifle!

I'm excited for you. My 14.5" LMT upper came in today, and I have a Vortex waiting to be perm. installed. LMTs rock, my old upper was quite accurate and perfectly reliable with good mags.

I took it down and it looks really nice all maching is quality fit and finish and color all quality the SOPMOD stock is super tight not any play. Bolt&Carrier quality LM&T staking of carrier key bolts are deep and correct. Fire control Assy is great. I have been a big fan of LM&T for years. Just could not find them around here at a fair price before.

    Great choice on a carbine.

Since you asked in another thread, the only real "issue" I've seen with some LMT carbines is that since they use a smaller gas port, they run best with higher pressure military grade ammo.

What was his asking price? There have been quite a few people posting damn good prices, and at retail gun shops no less, on these things in the last few months.
