Our barrels are done correctly and I am certain that you will like them. We have at least 3 LE agencies here in AZ that have purchased numerous rifles and uppers to replace some of their current aging issued stuff and they have performed very well. In addition Steve Fisher is running two of our carbines LW and medium weight on a regular basis.

I've been happy with my Ballistic Advantage barrel, but haven't had it long enough to say anything about longevity. However, 4150CMV nitrided should last pretty well. They have a fair number of profiles available.

I've used an ARP barrel with no problems. They offer the specs you want, at a reasonable cost.

I may be dense, but which company do you work for/with?

DD has a very nice nitrided strength-to-weight profile 18" CHF barrel.

Shouldn't that be disclosed in his sig line?
