Yesterday I posted some pictures of the knife my wife bought me for Christmas. Well today she went over the top for our 23rd Anniversary. Holy cow man, I can’t’ even believe this is happening! Clearly, I married extremely well.

The Axe feels great in the hand. The rubber handle material is awesome, wet or dry. The balance is pretty sweet. The tang is tapered from its heaviest at the head of the axe, narrowing to the end. I think this is what makes it feel “fast”.

It was not super sharp when shipped. Sharp mind you, but not super sharp. The owner of ‘The Epicurean Edge’ in Kirkland, Washington fixed that. It is now as sharp as any blade I own. That is to say it is other worldly sharp.
