So the entire upper half including the recoil spring assembly, etc, is M&P45, and the lower half is completely M&P45 Compact? Interesting...
had no idea that was possible to pull off. Thanks!

I've never understood the appeal of long grips and short slides like the Sig P220 Carry. It's the grip that's hard to conceal, not the slide. What I've wanted for years is a Sig P220 slide on a P245 frame (or P220 Compact frame).

FWIW, every SKU costs manufacturers money.

I like it. That would be awesome if you could buy them in that configuration. Just what I need for my growing M&P addiction.

Cool idea. This makes me want a full size .45 even more.

Glock shooters have been doing this for a while, but we have to use a hacksaw. This is a G17 cut to take G19 mags.

It would be sweet if we could just swap parts.

I think we're going to see a lot more long-barreled, short-grip pistols if we get stuck with a 10-shot magazine limit.

    I'm in love. I have a M&P .40 w/4.25 barrel.

Running with NO issues. I do carry it so I bless it as being GTG for me.

Trust you me you will love this combo. I wish it could be done with the 9/40 slides and frames.

Why can't it be done with the 9/40 slides and frames?

crossgun... sounds good. Thanks for the feedback.

I just picked up the M&P45C. Wonderful piece. 10-rnd mags and X-grips on the way. I look forward to adding a M&P45FS to enable the mixing and matching with slides and frames.
