with the plus package it is. That's what they told me and what I got from their website.

I had e-mailed them to see if it was milspec with the plus package and they said yes. Also, the model 3 has a milspec upper and milspec buffer tube.

Since you have already gotten so much good advice, I will only offer this: don't believe everything you read/hear, even on a mfr's website/phone/email. It's not like they are gonna get sued for false advertising, so the term "milspec" gets over-used and abused.
