Sighted in my Glock 34 today. Adjustable Dawson sights, Bar Sto barrel, Overwatch trigger (for my midget digits), and a minus connector.

Everything you need (especially with tiny hands), and nothing you don't. There's no slack left in that system. The only weakness left in that platform is you, and those groups show that you're a helluva shooter.

Great work with a great pistol.

That 50y group is downright spooky.

I’ve used bar sto barrels on a few guns and they are the best. That’s some awesome shooting. Nice gun very nice gun.

This is my first personal Bar Sto, and I’m impressed. I broke it in with 300 rds of aluminum cased Blazer before working groups and it has proven to be a very worthwhile purchase. The gunsmith who fit the barrel did a phenomenal job, and there is absolutely no slide/barrel movement whatsoever. Time will tell with reliability, and I’m getting a sampler of varying FMJ and a few match grade JHP loads to see what it prefers the most.

My goal is to shoot a documented 700 on the Humbler. I believe this handgun can do it.

I recently put a drop in KKM in my g23 (conversion barrel) and it’s really accurate... but you can definitely tell a difference with the fitted. My 25yd groups look like your 50. Nice work!

I'm a big fan of the t1 on a pistol. It's vastly better for shooting than an rmr, in my opinion.

Just got my 23 back from Doug. Cant wait to shoot the crap out of it this weekend-1st rmr so its an experiment. I have high hopes, just dry firing it, ive ID a thing ir two with my trigger control

First off, congrats on getting into the RDS+pistol world. It’s a game changer.

Second, I completely agree on the feedback an RMR provides for your trigger control. That what probably the most valuable thing I initially took away from moving to an RMR was just how much feedback it gives about you as a shooter.

Thanks. I kept std hieght sights and finding the dot is not an issue so far. Ill be on the timer this weekend.

is anyone else getting scratches all over the glass on their RMR? I have been carrying my G19 daily for 2.5 years with an rmr, and have about 4k rounds through it since installing the rmr.

I have to wipe dust/fuzz off of it every morning and both sides of the optic glass have light scratches in it. Is there any product that I can use to buff the glass or anything?I don't have a solution for scratches that are already there, but I used canned air to blow off the dust to prevent scratching the glass.

Finally got this sighted in properly, this was the initial group before dialing it in (~1 shot per sec).
Also did some FASTests. Times are about average what ive been shooting without rmr, but consistency in both time and accuracy was improved. I expect the times to drop as i get more time behind the rmr.

How long does it take you to shoot a group like that, you do it in one string? Sometimes i do better shooting one or two strings, sometimes a rest between each shot produces better results.

Thank you. That was somewhere around 3 minutes. I take quick breaks as needed, but generally fire one round every 10-12 seconds when grouping.

Groups dont show it, but i feel like i made progress today. A good trigger press is starting to become a thoughtless event. The two shots i pulled are from pushing my strings too long at the end of the day. Minus the fliers, its 8 shots in 2.5”. The 100 on a b-8 remains elusive. :ph34r:

I may pick up a XC-1B for the one with no light. That one is my winter carry gun at the moment. It replaced my Gen 4 Glock 19. Contrary to the "outrage" over the Glock 17 grip, it 19X conceals just fine for winter carry AIWB. I'll switch to my 26 come T-shirt weather. I carry with the 17 round mag and a 19 as a backup mag with a surefire E2D Defender.

I prefer the RTF grips but the Gen4/5 are comfortable too.
The magwell is an Advantage Arms. I have rather large hands and that little added length makes quite a difference for me.

I have never really seen the need for taking a hot iron to my Glocks as most stipple jobs just look superfluous. But this job looks classy and could be mistaken for factory. Well done!

I really loving it. I am not a Glock fan boy all. I have had a G17 Gen3 and sold it, because it could not shoot it well. I am not a fan of the G19 because of the shorter grip, but I have two Gen 3's. One is my dedicated Home Defense and the other I had to trick out, but removing the figure grooves, milled out the slide etc. but still not my favorite Glock. When I had the chance to hold and shoot the G19x, it felt great for a Glock. Even the color is awesome. So, when I had the opportunity to get the G19X, I did a straight trade for a VP9, the great decision on my part.

Nope, It's a 19X, with a modified grip to accept all generation magazines, frame Rit dyed black. In that picture it is sporting 19.5 slide, while the X slide is out being nitrided. Glock has a black version coming, but I was tired of waiting.

While the 5th Gens share the same barrel lug and locking block, the slide rail location is still different between the 17 and 19, so you can't use a 19 slide on a 17 frame. The slide will fit on the 17, but the extended distance won't allow the same cycle distance as the 19.

Yup it's real, Modified the frame to accept all generations of magazines, Rit dyed the frame black, and sent the slide off to JagerWerx for black Nitride.

One for duty and one for teaching at the range.

FWIW the info I have is that glock will be releasing a version that looks very much like the one I built, except it will not carry the 19X marking. I haven no idea what it will be called. It will have a black frame, and flared magwell, and cutout like the current 5th Gen 17. The slide will also be black and will have the same Ameriglo sight options. It is supposed to start showing up toward the end of the year.

I just got tired of waiting and made my own. :)

You're doing great. I know you aren't looking for input, but what helps me with the mental strain when shooting groups are doing them no more than 5 shots in a string. If I'm doing a slow fire group, like the first 25y bull in the Humbler, I use as much time as possible to fully relax between shots; including reholstering and taking a drink of water if need be.

You're doing very well.

I'm at around 2000r mix of fmj and hp, carry it every day.
Only have the light on it when I go to a private range I can draw from a holster.

Really enhances the function without to much gucci and I am not into windows on my slide.

Yep - Gen 4's. LWS is Landers Weapon Systems. I've had lots of different frame work done - and he is ABSOLUTELY in a class of his own. - https://www.landersweaponsystems.com

Picked up a new Gen 4 19 today. Installed a Vickers extended mag release and slide stop as well as a set of Defoor Ameriglo sights when I got it home.

made a few minor changes. Not sure the AA magwell will work for me. My pinky feels like it wants to slide off. Might have to raise the front strap.

It's actually pretty nice. Very pleased for the low cost. No clue on basepads.

What instructors? I'd say most big name instructors running Glocks are running them with aftermarket threaded barrels and/or slides...
