Buck Vantage Force Pro. S30V, beautiful blue and black G10, excellent ergonomics, and the size is perfect. I've had ZT, Benchmade, Spyderco, Cold Steel, CRKT, and many others. The blend of quality and carryability are unrivaled by any other knife I've laid my paws on. The only thing keeping it from being perfect is it uses a thumb hole instead of a thumb stud. The Carson flipper makes it a nonissue though.
And yes, to my own initial surprise as well I did just say that about a Buck.

My EDC Blade:

I make them. Just small, low profile drop points for concealment. Sheaths are made to be as small as possible overall.
Blade is just under 3 inches. Have done them in different steels, these are 440c (super low-maintenance) cryo quenched with a good heat treating.
