I finally got to shoot a VERY LIMITED number of rounds through a P320 Compact 40 yesterday. I was shooting at a reduced silhouette at about 7 yards off hand. First five rounds into the head were all clover-leaf touching, very accurate. Rapid fire into the body showed vertical stringing, not sure if that had to do with the pistol or the caliber (I shoot a G19 almost exclusively), but all shots nicely centered with sights centered. The only real down side was my first shot resulted in the slide locked back on a full magazine - obviously my thumb placement is not sympatico with the slide release...

Trigger felt nice, seemed lighter than any of my Glock's, and the reset was very short, if a little less "positive" than the Glock. All in all, when the new reversed magazine releases become widely available, I'm probably going to have to get one of these in 9mm to give a thorough work up.

You do know the magazine release is reversible... I'm guessing you meant the new slide release. They are shipping, but they are like hens teeth right now. Production will catch up. Being used to the G19, you will love the 320C in 9mm. It is just plain fun to shoot.

There's a big post on it in the FB 320 group. You can call Sig and order it, $32.

You have to call into their customer support to order this - #603-610-3000 and it is part #1300891-R

It feels higher in the hand, but it doesn't translate when shooting, at least for me. My splits are pretty equal across the 3 platforms.

The comfort of the grip and trigger make the 320 my choice. I have close to 4K through my full size with 0 issues. Just added a +4 from springer and it's rock solid.

What are you liking better about it? Were you having issues with the slide locking back?
