I have experience with a trijicon tr25 1-6 AccuPoint with the green triangle. In full sun and over cast days the green is bright and contrasts well against the colors where I’m at in central Washington state. When it’s bright out and I’m in the shade looking at a target in full sun the triangle is black, the illumination doesn’t come through.

Larger scope, but you can stay red reticle. It actually has a few options for reticles on this one. I am trying to decide to go 1-4 power like linked earlier or this one. Same thing, special negotiated price here as well.

I am totally in love with this scope, I already own one, and am super tempted to grab another at that price.
    Stick

For what purpose would you recommend this optic? Is this primarily a hunting scope in your book?

With a duplex reticle and no turret, likely yes.

Snooze you lose, there is only green duplex left now. The red MOA is no longer an option to order.

Mine is on a 300BLK bolt action, which I've used multiple times to take deer. My other hunting 300BLK is one John Noveske built for me, and that is a 16" AR with a 1.5-5 scope.

That scope harvests light incredibly well at dusk, and is nice and clean/ clear. I certainly wouldn't call it a hunting only optic, I think I would consider it more of a General Purpose scope which excels at hunting and low light. I don't get totally stuck on scope reticles as I am forced to bounce around calibers, weapons, ammo and optics on a regular basis.

DSG Arms has five 30 rd black Lancer mags for $59 plus $5 shipping , which is $12.80 per mag. Pretty sure that’s not bad.

Magpul has some Summit and Terrain eyewear on sale as well as a few belts. I have some Summits and Terrains. They are good for the normal price, they are great at this price.
